Anna Chilvers

She/her

Anna Chilvers is the author of three novels East Coast Road (2020), Tainted Love (2016) and Falling Through Clouds (2010) (all Bluemoose Books), as well as a collection of short stories, Legging It (2012, Pennine Prospects). She is a creative writing tutor and mentor and lectures in creative writing at Manchester Metropolitan University, where she is currently studying for a PhD on novel writing and walking in woodland.

East Coast Road, Bluemoose Books 2020

This two hour* reading and writing workshop will be based on Plath’s short story, Mary Ventura and the Ninth Kingdom. Participants will be asked to read this short story before the workshop (a copy will be provided on booking). The workshop will include discussion of the story, and writing exercises which spring from it.
