Betty Doyle

she/her/hers

Betty Doyle is a disabled poet from Merseyside. Her work has appeared in publications such as Agenda, Butcher’s Dog, Poetry Wales, And Other Poems, and recently placed second in Brag magazine’s poetry prize. Her debut poetry pamphlet, ‘Girl Parts‘, was published by Verve Poetry Press in 2022, and examines the female body, the parts women play in society, infertility, menstruation, and violence against women. She is currently studying for a PhD in Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University, researching infertility poetics.
