Julie Irigaray

She/Her

Julie Irigaray is an English Literature PhD student at The University of Huddersfield. Her research focuses on Sylvia Plath’s complex relationship with England and her transnational identity as an American writer with strong European connections. Julie is also a creative writing tutor and a poet. Her début pamphlet “Whalers, Witches and Gauchos” was published by Nine Pens last year, and her poems have appeared internationally. Julie’s forthcoming publications include an article on Sylvia Plath and France, and a poem published in the “After Sylvia” anthology.
